CRESWELL (FANS CHOICE) GNP

Prince Ameen came to the ring and challenged anyone to beat him, if this could be done he would pay them 5000 British Pounds. However Prince Ameen was still angry at losing to Surf Digby in record time at Elite 8. For this reason he offered 5 British Pounds to any member of the audience who would face the Surfer Dude at the next Creswell show, known as FRESH BLOOD. This challenge was accepted by the bodyguard of Brad Flash, a man known as Mikey Riot.

Project Ego then came to the ring and layed the smackdown on their opponents this night. Both Scotty Hexx and Kris Travis have held the GNP CHAMPIONSHIP and BCC TITLE nearly a year and stated that if a picture was to be taken at the end of the night, it would show them still champions leaving with the belts.

The first match saw the tag team champions THE MODELS defending the GNP TAG TITLES against the new team of ECHO BOOMERS. On this occasion the champions were too much for the rookies. Joey Hayes getting the pinfall following a flatliner, yet again proving why they are the best tag team in GNP history.

El Ligero gained revenge against Martin Kirby for costing him the ELITE 8 championship in a fantastic 25 minute classic.

Kids were lefting crying when THE DAMNED NATION came to the ring. The mystery member of this gang was the artist formerly known as Cameron Kraze, now known as John Cameron. Teaming with his new partner Dragon Izu, they made short work of the female tag team known as TEAM BLOSSOM in a brutal match.

In the first of the double main events, THE BIG DOG RAINZ captured the GNP CHAMPIONSHIP from the companies greatest champion KRIS TRAVIS, using a deadly powerbomb to the delight of the crowd.

Following the interval THE JUGGERNAUGHT made the most impressive debut in GNP history beating the popular BUBBLEGUM with a double powerbomb. The crowd were shocked to see its most popular star being carried from the ring following this demolition by GNP's newest wrecking machine.

In the gauntlet, Bam Bam Barton pinned his nemises Jo Conners but then was quickly eliminated by Dr Devious when Conners attacked him from behind. This left Devious against Gary Player. In a hard match, Player rolled up Devious on the ten minute mark. Out came Casey Hanson, looking to make it 2-0. However his dream came short when Player again scored his second pin fall of the night to win the Gauntlet.

Shane Flint used a horrific tombstone piledriver to pin Nitrus in the tag team contest of THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS VS XTREME MANAGEMENT.

In the Main event, Paul Malen choked out Scotty Hexx with his own chain to capture the BCC TITLE.

THIS IS WRESTLING - EDWINSTOWE

The show kicked off with the MC for the evening Mr Brett “Airboy” Hadley making his was to the announcing table at the side of the ring. Shortly after our referee for the evening Michael “Milky” Bell made his way to the ring.

“Battle of the Bizarre”
“Psycho” Stevie Flint Vs Voodoo

This match started out very oddly as the two participants seemed to have a scream off before Stevie lost his temper and launched a punch at Voodoo. The two slugged it out with Stevie getting the advantage. After realising that Voodoo could not out power Stevie he resorted to what he knows best…Voodoo. This took Stevie off guard and continued throughout the match. Stevie had finally had enough and decided to punish Voodoo’s skull, which accompanied him to the ring.

Stevie tried stomping it but the skull wouldn’t allow it, Voodoo took Stevie Down with a flying clothesline and an Undertaker-esk shoulder breaker, shortly after Voodoo seemed to curse on of the turnbuckles and simply fell to the floor. Stevie seemed to take advantage of this by climbing to the top turnbuckle, by presumably due to the curse, slipped and crotched himself, this allowed Voodoo, to sit up from played possum and ascend the top rope and hit Stevie with his Version of the Molly Go Round for the win.

“Iron” Mike Holmes Vs Bam Bam Barton

Mike Holmes made his way to the ring, with a can of Carling in hand, looking very confident. He was shortly followed by Bam Bam Barton.
The size difference between the two was obvious, as the only way they could do the test of strength was by Hughes standing on the back of Referee, Milky Bell.

These two had a very hard hitting match which included a sick clothesline to Holmes on the outside. Holmes managed to take control of most of the match and eventually picked up the win with his feet on the ropes.

Brett Hadley then introduced the Rumbles two smallest participants Ben Inferno & Reece Jordon. Brett mentioned that the two of them were students of the GNP academy and this was a chance to prove themselves in the Rumble later in the night.

They were then interrupted by Luke Axl & Blayze Bentley, who arrived too late in the afternoon to reserve a place in the Rumble. They complained that their places had been taken by a couple of kids. The Original Psycho then entered the ring and with a lot of aggression told Axl & Blayze that if they wanted their spot then why not fight for it, why not let Jordon & Inferno prove that they were worthy of their spot, which lead to:

Luke Axl & Blayze Bentley Vs Ben Inferno & Reece Jordon

This match obviously favoured the much larger team of Axl & Blayze (well Blayze at least) and although the youngsters put up a valiant fight Blayze and Axl made short work of them & got the double pin fall victory after simultaneously hitting the Blayzing Angels & RKO.

Bodyslam Challenge

The Juggernaught Vs Brett Valentine

Now this match on paper would suggest that the Juggernaught should walk away from this one quite comfortably, after all he’s a former singles & tag team champion whereas Valentine is in his Rookie year in this business, but as his followers are aware, Valentine is improving with every match.

The Juggernaught announced before that start of the match that this would be a Bodyslam challenge and that either man could only win after bodyslamming his opponent. The Juggernaught managed to do this with ease and dominated Valentine during the match, but Valentine showed great heart and would not give up. Towards the end of the match Valentine came back and gained a few close pin falls on the Juggernaught before hitting the Bodyslam and making the cover for the 2 count. Valentine then signalled he was going up top and looked like his was going for a moonsault, but the Juggernaught managed to cut him off and take him from the top turnbuckle to hit a flaming hammer for the victory.

International Tag Team Match
Matt Slater & Casey Hanson Vs Aaron James & Donny Bull

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Gary Player was unable to make it to the event, but Aaron James found himself a more than capable part in Donny Bull.

Matt Slater and Casey Hanson both entered the ring to their adopted countries national anthems.

The match started off with neither Slater nor Hanson wanting to enter the ring to face Donny Bull and forced him to tag in Aaron so that the match could begin. Before long the match became very fast paced with James & Bull firmly in charge, but it wasn’t long before the International Superstars underhand tactics got them control of the match. They began a severe beat down on James and it looked like they had the match in the bag.

Every time Aaron got anywhere near tagging in Bull he was cut off, at one point the tag was made to a massive pop from the crowd, but was not seen by the referee and therefore the Bull was forced to remain on the apron. Shortly after James managed to get the legal tag to Bull and he ran riot, knocking down everything in is path. At one point Slater was hoisted above Bulls head and launched all the way to the outside where who took a sick landing. A recovered James then managed to re-enter the ring and hit his finisher on Hanson for the Huge win to a overwhelming response from the crowd.

15 Man Open Invitation Rumble

The first match after the Intermission was the 15 man Rumble with an entrant coming down every 90 seconds and the first entrant was Brad Flash, shortly followed by Surf Digby.

These two slugged it out and reversed holds until the next entrant made his way to the ring, Dr Devious. Entrants began coming thick and fast with no eliminations. Dean McKenzie was next, followed by Mikey Riot then the high flying teenage wonder Robbie X.

Next out was “Iron” Mike Hughes who defeated Bam Bam Barton earlier in the evening. He was almost immediately eliminated by Mikey Riot. Bam Bam Barton made his way out next and straight away headed for Hughes still fuming at the way he won the match earlier. Bam Bam set Hughes up for a huge clothesline eliminating not only Hughes but himself at the same time. Devious was eliminated shortly after.

Out next was the MASSIVE mat monster, The Juggernaught. He came into the ring with one thing on his mind, destroy everything in his way. He made quick work of Digby, McKenzie & Riot and then launched Robbie X over the top rope onto all three of them. Brad Flash then offered his hand to Juggernaught and stated that he wanted to be his friend.

Juggernaught looked to accept this before changing his mind and delivering a bone crunching TK Throw to Flash seemingly injuring the Generation SEX member. Flash was helped to the back by Milky Bell, who emerged to inform Brett Hadley that Flash could not continue with the match.

This left Juggernaught alone in the ring. Jack Russell emerged next looking to prove that he was more than a match for Juggernaught. This proved not to be the case as Juggernaught made very quick work of Russell, eliminating him in under a minute. Unfortunately the man from the 1980’s, Matt Duran incurred the same fate and failed to last more than a minute.

Out next was Juggernaught’s opponent from earlier in the night, Brett Valentine, who came into the match full of energy but still looking slightly worse for wear from their earlier encounter. Brett managed to hold his own, before being cut off by the much more powerful mat monster. Out next was the hardcore, suicidal son of a b*tch Jason Genesis, who immediately set up a table on the outside before helping out Valentine. Together they managed to get the upper hand, but were unable to eliminate their opponent.

Blayze Bentley was the next entrant but seemed reluctant to enter the ring, but when the final entrant emerged it was quite clear that he was just waiting for his tag partner Luke Axl.

These two actually went to the aid of the Juggernaught trying to eliminate Valentine and Genesis. Then to the surprise of everyone Ben Inferno and Reece Jordon made their way to the ringside accompanied by the Original Psycho. The two youngsters provided the distraction long enough for Valentine & Genesis to simultaneously eliminate by Bentley & Axl. This led to a brawl on the outside between the Original Psycho & Axl, which culminated in the Psycho spearing Axl into the crowd.

This left Genesis, Juggernaught and Valentine. At some point during all this the Juggernaught hit Valentine with a forearm so hard that Valentine was knocked unconscious for a brief amount of time, fortunately his ali Genesis was on hand to distract Juggernaught. Genesis was in control and went up top, before being cut off and thrown from the top rope and all the way to the floor going through the table that was set up earlier, but the momentum of this also took the Juggernaught off balance and he also fell to the floor leaving only Valentine in the ring.

Once crowd got over the shock of what had just happened they went crazy when Valentines music hit. But as Valentine celebrated his well earned victory, the “Injured” Brad Flash returned to the ring and dropkick the stunned Brett over the top rope seemingly stealing the victory. Which the crowd did not like one bit and Flash was actually chased to the back by some of the young fans.

GNP Heavyweight Title Match
“The Big Dog” Rainz Vs “The Nightmare” Scotty Hexx

This one was never going to be a technical contest between these two Heavyweights but my god they can hit hard. Hexx managed to gain control of the match early on and at one point applied a nerve hold to the big dog that looked to have won him the match. Rainz managed to make his way back to his feet before being launched into one of the turnbuckles with such force that the entire ring moved about a foot. These two monsters then went at it nose to nose exchanging vicious chops that could be heard throughout the hall. Rainz managed to get the upper hand finished Hexx off with a powerful chokeslam to retain his Heavyweight title.

Four Corners Cruiserweight Showcase
Joey Hayes Vs Kris Travis Vs The Juice Vs Dylan Roberts

Before the start of the match it was announced that Bubblegum was unable to make and that Dylan Roberts would be his replacement.

This match was always going to be a show stealer and it did not disappoint. Right from the opening bell these guys gave it everything they had. It seemed apparent quite quickly that Travis and Juice had formed an alliance as the worked on Roberts for the majority of the match.

Hayes was on the ring apron screaming for the tag, but it was to no avail as Travis and Juice were cutting him off when he got anywhere near. Finally Roberts had, had enough and came back like a man possessed, taking out both Travis and Juice by himself and almost claiming the victory before making the tag to Hayes. The crowd was loader than they had been all night as Hayes cleared house and eventually hit Travis with a modified brainbuster for the pin and the win.

Every single person was on their feet and gave Hayes a standing ovation for the amazing win.

GNP TITLE NIGHT 22/08/08 CRESWELL

Title night started off with the bad news that RAINZ was suffering an illness, which effected his hearing and balance. It is uncertain at this time how long THE BIG DOG will be officially out. Due to this situation RAINZ had no option but to forfeit the GNP Championship.

In the opening contest, JO CONNERS made a return to CRESWELL to face off against BRETT VALENTINE, who was replacing PAUL MALEN due to a leg injury. VALENTINE managed to beat his opponent around the 10 minute mark.

TEAM BLOSSOM faced GENERATION S.E.X in a tag team contest. MIKE ROSE was reluctant to strike HOLLY or HANNAH during the contest making his tag partner and image advisor BRAD FLASH extremely angry. During an argument with ROSE, HOLLY managed a school boy pin on FLASH to win the contest. Following the bout both FLASH and ROSE attacked the twins until BUBBLEGUM came to their assistance.

GNP then announced a new enforcer owing to circumstances with RAINZ. The new enforcer (general manager role) being none other than THE ORIGINAL PSYCHO SHANE FLINT. His first task was to officially declare the GNP CHAMPIONSHIP vacant. However JUGGERNAUGHT came to the ring and declared himself the new champion. Before the belt could be taken RAINZ stated that a champion should never be handed a belt, and although he thought JUGGERNAUGHT was the best man to carry the title, the new champion should be the winner of the final contest at TITLE NIGHT. This contest would be an over the top rope ROYAL RUMBLE.

In the final contest before the interval, BUBBLEGUM pinned KRIS TRAVIS with a 619 in a fantastic contest. Following the contest TRAVIS attempted to attack BUBBLEGUM, but only managed to bang his own head knocking himself out. What followed was slightly odd as both ref (HARDCOUNT RIC) and BUBBLEGUM attempted to revive TRAVIS by wafting him with a BEANO magazine. When TRAVIS came around he spent a lot of time staring at DENNIS THE MENACE before running back stage with a new squeeky voice!!!

DR DEVIOUS obtained his revenge against REECE JORDAN, who had lots of fans in the crowd, with a powerful power-bomb.

SCOTTY HEXX pinned EL LIGERO in the three-way contest following his nightmare DDT. However the news in this match was the breakdown between JOEY HAYES and SCOTTY HEXX. Has PROJECT EGO finally dissolved in GNP?

In the ROYAL RUMBLE, every wrestler gave it his best shot in becoming the new GNP CHAMPION. It also saw the debut of some new faces, including JACK RUSSELL, and stalwart stars such as NICK ELITE, SURF DIGBY and VAL KABIOUS. The final four came down to REECE JORDAN (who seconds earlier had eliminated JOEY HAYES), SCOTTY HEXX, JUGGERNAUGHT and EL LIGERO.

JUGGERNAUGHT made quick work of JORDAN whilst EL LIGERO managed to tip THE NIGHTMARE over the top rope. In a very heated exchange, JUGGERNAUGHT managed to T.K THROW the Mexican superstar out of the ring to become the new title holder.

RAINZ came into the ring, put the belt around the new champion’s waist, and declared him the winner. JUGGERNAUGHT basked in the new glory and left the ring leaving SHANE FLINT and RAINZ in the squared circle.

THE BIG DOG never spoke, but looked around the ring for the final time to a standing ovation (believe it or not people were crying!) before walking away.

NBW BIGGER BETTER STRONGER - SHIREBROOK 20/02/09

FULL VENUE

Match 1: Prince Mohamed Ameen vs. Cameron Kraze
The prince was quick to mock the assembled Shirebrook fans, ridiculing their respective incomes, or as the Prince thought, lack thereof. However, the Fun Loving Kraze was quick to raise the question, is Mohamed a prince, or a Princess? Judging by the chants of the jam packed Shirebrook Village hall, he is definitely “Princess Mo”.

Once the match started, Cameron delivered a punishing onslaught. However, princess, er, Prince Mohamed was able to reach down deep... and cheat to win the match with his feet on the ropes.

Match 2: The Chemical Brothers vs. Digby and Barton for the NBW Tag Team Championship.
Digby and Barton didn’t make any friends among the assembled fans. On the other hand, Nitrus and Adrenaline delivered the high impact fast paced style that got the crowd buzzing. Despite their villainous efforts, Dibby and Barton were defeated by the Brothers Chemical.

Match 3 “70s” Stevie Flint vs. Rainz.
If you take away the smooth moves, long hair and style of Saturday Night Fever, and add a whole lot of Bad Attitude, what do you get? Why, it’s Seventies Stevie Flint. The self proclaimed king of Disco tried to get the NBW fans on board, however they weren’t having any of it for a second. The Big Dog Rainz was all business, and after a FU/Chokeslam combo, Stevie was sent back to the seventies screaming.

Match 4
Mikey Riot vs. Robbie X.
This was a definitive case of David vs. Goliath. However, whilst David had his catapult, the daring youngster Robbie X had “A Big Dog.” Whilst the referee was distracted, Rainz helped Robbie X by taking Mikey down.
Match 5

Kris Travis and Brad Flash vs. Team Blossom.
As the inter-gender match started, Travis and Flash were quick to try and emphasise their male dominance. However, with the fans on their side, Holly and Hannah were able to triumph in the face of this adversity and score the victory.

Match 6
Dragon Aisu vs. Reece Jordan
After insulting all the men and women of every age, Aisu faced Jordan. Despite his best efforts, this mismatch played out pretty much as expected. Reece tried some slick moves, including the 619. However, the dangerous Aisu was just too much, and “Boom Boom” was defeated.

Match 7
The Battle Royale
Every competitor from the previous evening, plus Jack Russell, returned to the ring for one last hurrah. After being screwed over in the opener, Cameron Kraze was able to achieve vindication as he won the rumble, last eliminating Prince Mohamed Ameen.

BEWARE OF THE DOG 03/04/09 - CRESWELL SOCIAL CENTRE

Attendance - FULL

1. Bubblegum entered the ring with difficulty, due to being on crutches, but had help of fellow friend and wrestlers.
First Bubblegum did a speech about his reasons for giving up wrestling, was a very heartfelt speech which made all the goody wrestlers come to give their support. Which was rudely interrupted by Prince Momed Ameen and Scotty Hexx giving their opinion on Bubblegums retirement, which made Bubblegum leave the ring, and they were left with Team Blossom accompanied by Reece "Boom Boom" Jordan.

2. Team Blossom vs. Prince Mo and Scotty Hexx - The match was a good opener, and Holly really got a beating, the match ended with Prince Mo going round the outisde of the ring to attack Hannah which left Scotty Hexx to get the pin on Holly.

3. Psycho Stevie Flint vs. Martin Kirby - Was a very strange match with two very strange wrestlers. Was a good comedy match and got the crowd going. Ended up with Stevie winning the match.

4. Joey Hayes vs. Danny Rio vs. The Ninja - This was a good match, Joey lead the match most of the way in the match as Danny Rio kept getting out of the ring (chicken) leaving Joey and The Ninja to battle it out. When Danny Rio made an appearance in the match him and The Ninja made a pack and took on Joey Hayes. Joey Hayes got the pin by doing a backslide on The Ninja.

5. Cameron Craze vs. I.R.S (Irwin. R. Sykester) - I.R.S. claiming that the fans were all tax dodgers, gave him heat from the audience, which turned into massive of cheers for Cameron Craze, this was an amazing match, always enjoy watching Cameron Craze doing what he does best. I.R.S. went to the outside of the ring and picked up his briefcase which he had brought to the ring, and went to attack Cameron Craze, as Craze dodged I.R.S went into the ropes which bounced back into his head, which knocked him on his back, which left Cameron Craze open to the CrazeY Bottom (Rock Bottom)

6. El Ligero vs. Robbie X - Robbie X was pushed to his boundries by El Ligero making it the best match of his young career so far, was a well presented match and most enjoyable of the night. The match included Robbie X recieving several chops to the chest, which ended up breaken the skin, sending a heat through Robbie X's body. The fun point of the match was when Robbie X ended up on the outside of the ring, when El Ligero went to do a move through the ropes when he noticed that Robbie X wasnt there, El Ligero bounced himself of the ropes saving him from diving over onto the outside. When El Ligero looked over the ropes to see where Robbie X had gone, Robbie X had appeared from under the ring on the opposite side wearing an El Ligero Mask, which continued with Robbie X imitating a well known El Ligero head scissor clapping combination.
The match continued with El Ligero taking control, which included a missed moonsault into a superkick when they were interrupted by Dragon Aisu as he ran in a delivered a vicious lariat to El Ligero, moving onto Robbie X locking him into a brutal crossface, when the referee Michael "Milky" Bell decided to end the match in a no contest. After the match had finished both competitors recieved a standing ovation and respectful mutual handshake between the two.

Tag Team Championship Match
7. Travis the Menace © and Reece "Boom Boom" Jordan © Team S.E.X.
Sadly I missed the match so i cant give any opinion on it. However the finish was a 619 by Reece Jordan onto one of the members of Team S.E.X. ending in a pinfall, after the match they were interrupted by Prince Mo and Scotty Hexx which ended up in another Tag Team Title Match.

Tag Team Championship Match
8. Travis the Menace © and Reece "Boom Boom" Jordan © W/ Bubblegum vs. Prince Mo and Scotty Hexx
This was a good title match with Bubblegum constantly being goaded by Hexx and Prince Mo.
I cant give a full detailed review on this due to missing half the match, but the most important part of this match was when Prince Mo and Scotty Hexx won the belts after Hexx hit his finisher on Reece Jordan, after the match had finished the winners continued to beat there opponents. As Bubblegum felt distressed from goaded and seeing his former tag team partner Travis losing his titles, Bubblegum made his way into the ring despite desperate pleas from officials and a member of Team Blossom. As Bubblegum took to the mic, he started pleading with Hexx not to ruin another career like Bubblegum had done his own. Hexx left the ring, only to get back in and taking the mic and challenging Bubblegum to make him leave. With Bubblegum using one of his crutches he started threatening Hexx and leaded to shock the entire building by turning and sending a crushing blow to the head with the crutch to the member of Team Blossom. Bubblegum had shocked the entire crowd, wrestlers and officials alike by jumping around the ring shouting "HA I FOOLED YOU ALL!" before escaping out the back door.

GNP Academy Showcase
9. MVK vs. Pitbull - A very impressive outing for the academy students, back and forth match of each competitor taking control within the ring. Pitbull hit a near fall, following a spine buster but MVK fired back giving Pitbull his finisher (Shelton Benjamins Finisher) ending the match in a win for MVK.

10. MAIN EVENT
Dragon Aisu vs. Big Dog Rainz - As they both started in the ring, Aisu told the ring announcer (Brett Hadley) that this match would be contested under Dragon Aisu rules......meaning.......NO RULES!!!
Back and Fourth brawling around the venue objects/weapons were used in each opponents arsenal, including a shot to the head of Rainz with a keyboard, splitting the Big Dog's head open. Aisu couldnt get the big man down with two powerful clothelines but a third huge lariat took the Big Dog down for a very close 2 count. Aisu incensed, then got up and instantly RKO'd the referee, Milky Bell, and proceeded with a crossface on Rainz, but he refused to tap. An even more irate Aisu battered Rainz with a steel chair which promoted El Ligero to run in, steal the chair, and superkick Aisu in the face straight into a chokeslam from Rainz, giving Rainz the 1-2-3 to an amazing ovation.

OVERALL....it was a great show, twists and turns, good matches, and a red hot crowd.

THE CROWNING OF THE KING - SHIREBROOK (NBW)

Following an interview with Prince Ameen, in which he introduced his stable to NBW, Scotty Hexx beat Cory Green with a swagger powerbomb.

Reece Jordan and Ben Inferno beat Kris Travis and Martin Kirby when Inferno pinned Travis following a mistake from Kirby. Following the contest Travis attacked his long time tag team partner.

Prince Ameen pinned Rainz with help from Val Kabious on the outside. Ameen qualified for the main event.

Bret Barton was the sole survivor in the elimination match taking out both tag team champions on his own. The big news from this contest was a serious injury to El Ligero when he re-hurt his shoulder from a moonsault. Everyone, including myself, hopes that Ligero is ok and returns soon to what he loves doing best.

Following the interval Cameron Craze beat Chris Holmes to qualify for the main event title match. This was an excellent contest.

Val Kabious pinned Bar Room Barker with a DVD in a fast paced hard hitting contest.

Shane Flint and 6Star beat The Bully and Pitbull Pearson.

In the main event, Prince Ameen won the NBW TITLE, after the contest Rainz helped Cameron take down the Prince's Court and set up the main event for the next show in June.

THE ELITE 8 - GNP CRESWELL

GNP General Manager Shane Flint and Rainz addressed the GNP title situation and told us that Juggernaught has ONE month, or the title is vacated (I think, I can't remember, or Rainz was gonna get him, not sure)
El Ligero also came out as he's injured and will be out for several months due to surgery. He gave a nice, big "ARIBA!"

In the opening contest, Joey Hayes advanced in the Elite 8 tournament after a match with Brett Valentine.

The next Elite 8 first round contest pitted Holly, of Team Blossom, against Mr. Aisu. The referee Milky Bell announced that Mr. Aisu would be under a strict, "3 strikes and you're out" ruling.
Holly put up a good fight but it wasn't long until Aisu dominated and picked up the victory.

Next up was Cameron Kraze against Martin Kirby. Martin must have had him in a headlock, getting ready for a jackhammer for 2 or 3 mins before getting him up but Cameron reversing with a nice rollup and the win.

The final first round Elite 8 tournament match saw Danny Rio beat MVK, before MVK was beaten down by Chris Holmes.

In the first semi-final match, Mr. Aisu locked Cameron Kraze ina vicious crossface before Milky called the match over as Cameron couldn't continue due to the crossface.
Milky was also given a "three strike and you're killed" rule by Aisu.

Next up, Joey Hayes was set to take on Danny Rio in the semi-finals but Prince Ameen offered Danny £1000 for his place. Danny accepted and Ameen was in the match.
Ameen won with a punch, but it was soon revealed that knuckle dusters were used and the decision was reversed. Joey would face Mr. Aisu later on in the night.

Kris Travis was set to take on Bubblegum, however an interference by Scotty Hexx ended the match in a draw and beatings for Travis and Reece Jordan followed.

The following match was a huge 6-man tag match pitting Robbie X, Ben Inferno and Moonbeam against the team of Digby, Bar Room Barker and Pitbull Pearson.
Barker, Pitbull and Digby picked up the victory.
A highlight in the match included Robbie jumping over the top rope to the men below.

The main event followed and was a good contest between Aisu and Joey. The Elite 8 tournament was won by Joey and was congratulated by GNP GM, Shane Flint.

THE FINAL EXAM - GNP ACADAMY CRESWELL

Cory Green defeated Matt Slater in a great opener. A lot of moves that kept you guessing on who would win etc. but Cory wouldn't let go of the ankle lock despite loads of rolling through by Matt, but Cory kept holding on. Really good.

Rainz beat Brett Valentine in another good match with a huge powerbomb.

Current GNP British Counties Champion and GNP Tag Team champion, Scotty Hexx comes out and is abused by many in which he gives some back. He then targets his brother, Lance Love. Lance comes out and Hexx dominates pretty much all the well through with Lance getting only little offense in. A few blown spots but Lance is a lot better than he was on the first academy show (he also attempted a moonsault and if any of you have seen his size... Quite impressive)

The next match saw Pitbull Pearson with Bar Room Barker in his corner, beat Reece Jordan. Good match. Pitbull gets a lot of cheers from a certain section in the crowd despite being a heel.

The first match after the interval saw Robbie X take on Ben Inferno. Just before the match Robbie cut a brief promo in which he turned heel and then beat Ben up. Ben got a few moves in (and I'm assuming would have got another in but as he got on the top rope, the top rope fell, and Robbie and Ben worked as best as possible and ended the match suitably whilst the people fixed the rope.)

Stevie Flint then came out and said that starting from tonight he will hold the greatest record in GNP as currently he is ... 1-0! He called out the skinniest, weediest trainee to beat and out comes... Ollertank, who is none of the listed. Ollertank flattens him (quite literally) after squashing him first in the turnbuckle and then with a senton. After losing, Stevie announces it's best of three. Ollertank wins again, with Stevie getting a little more offense in but still not much. Stevie then announces that it was first to three! How could he forget? He then says that he'll let us all off watching him win 3 consecutive matches so it'll be the winner takes all match and it could only be won via submission! Ollertank wins again...

Bar Room Barker beat Moonbeam (Mikey Riot) in a hardcore match. The match ended with a DVD through a wallpaper pasting board.

Brett Valentine won an over the top rumble to challenge for the NBW Openweight title in Shirebrook in July.

And then in the main event, Travis the Menace beat Chris Holmes in a really good match.

FRESH BLOOD - CRESWELL (FRIDAY 4TH SEPT 09)

Prince Ameen beat Jimmy Lunchtime, after taking his dinner money too!

Martin Kirby was finally found after the game of hide-and-seek from the previous show, and was wrapped up in tin foil in an attempt to copy Reece Jordan. However after running the ropes nearly thirty times (showing some fighting spirit), Kirby cooked himself and collapsed, allowing Jordan an easy 3 count.

Cameron Kraze managed to score an impressive victory over Chris Holmes, who had been on a winning streak until this match.

Joey Hayes managed to overcome the massive Ollertank.

Kris Travis and Bubblegum battled to a very hard fought double DQ.

Bret Valentine beat Sam Bailey in a good contest.

In the main event, Prince Ameen put Rainz through a gauntlet of wrestlers. Starting with Surf Graffiti, who was pounced and pinned with a powerbomb. The second was Jester, who just got shoved hard to the floor and eliminated. Next was Shinzaki The Ninja who was knocked out clean with the best back kick ever seen. Danny Rio was the final entry and proved to be a very tough challenge, but eventually fell to a chokeslam.

After the contest both Rio and Ameen attacked Rainz, allowing Ameen to throw fire in the face of The Big Dog.

GNP - FIGHT DAY THE 13TH (CRESWELL 13/11/09)

An amazing crowd was present to watch the final GNP show of the year, which included legendary world of sport star Alan Kilby.

At the start of the show, GNP introduced the new General Manager to replace Shane Flint. It was none other than G-Man Chris Garrett. Looking the part in a smart suit and taking his role very seriously (for a change), G-Man announced that he had suspended Bubblegum for the trouble he had caused for the short term future.

THE RETURN OF THE MEXICAN WARRIOR
PRINCE AMEEN VS EL LIGERO
El Ligero was given a great ovation on his return to the ring and displayed alot of his awsome moves which has made him one of the greatest wrestlers on the British scene. Prince Ameen has been chasing the GNP title for around 6 months and has been throwing all his money and resources at The Big Dog to take the title away from him. On this night, El Ligero made him forget all about his hunt for gold by handing him a loss around the 20 minute mark.

GNP TITLE MATCH
CHAMPION THE BIG DOG VS EWAN KENNEDY
A hard hitting contest, both giants took it in turn to hit, chop and club each other in a test of strength. One point during the contest, when both monsters were down, Prince Ameen entered the ring and attacked Rainz, only to be chased away by El Ligero. When both Kennedy and Rainz recovered, The Big Dog managed to choke slam his opponent. New general manager G-Man Chris Garrett counted the pin as ref Milky Bell had been taken out by Kennedy moments earlier. A great contest received a standing ovation at the end.

NATHAN CRUZ VS TRAVIS THE MENACE
The ladies match, both stars have great looks and excellent wrestling skills. Travis took the victory with a double underhook piledriver around the 14 minute mark.

BRITISH COUNTIES TITLE MATCH
CHAMPION SCOTTY HEXX VS BOOM BOOM REECE JORDAN
In the shock of the night, Boom Boom Reece Jordan took the British Counties Title from Scotty Hexx with a victory-role following outside help from Travis.

MATCH III - THE FINAL BATTLE
CORY GREEN VS CHRIS HOLMES
In a match with a lot of history, Chris Holmes finally laid his ghosts to rest with an impressive win over his number one enemy. Following around 20 minutes of solid action, The Reason countered an ankle lock into a pinning attempt and held on to the ropes for the win, which Milky Bell failed to see.

Irwin R. Sykester VS Jimmy Lunchtime
Somehow, the smallest wrestler on the roster managed to beat the dangerous IRS with a DDT.

Mat Slater VS Kieran Carte
From the GNP wrestling academy, these two young stars put on a neat little bout, the victory being taken by Carte following an RKO.

HARDCORE ELIMINATION FREE-FOR-ALL
HAVOK VS SCUMBOY VS SURF GRAFITTI VS PRODIGY VS HALO VS JACK RUSSELL VS MIGHTY QUINN VS HOWARD DIGBY
Scumboy took the biggest win of his career soo far in this elimination contest. The highlight of the match was when the massive HAVOK pinned HALO and PRODIGY at the same tame with a sitdown splash.

A massive thank you to everyone in attendance, an amazing show to end 2009.

BARNSLEY WRESTLING SHOW 30TH JAN 2010

Battle Royal
This should have been at the end of the night, but sadly was put on at the beginning. Not sure how to rate this, it had some decent points. The winner was the smallest guy on the roster!

Match 1
Reece Jordan defeated Chris Holmes in a strong opening contest following a series of comedy spots. Well received by the large crowd on hand, well done to these young stars.

Match 2
Jack Russell beat Mikey Riot in what must be their strongest outing to date. Applause to both for finally putting in some top notch effort.

Match 3
The match of the night by a country mile. An amazing contest that could grace any card, Kris Travis again stole the show with an over the top bad guy performance that had the crowd in roars of laughter. The Big Dog displayed incredible power moves which had the crowd applauding. Rainz took the victory with Kris Travis blaming the glare off a bald man's head for blinding his eyes.

Match 4
Valek defeated Robbie X in a decent contest. It is clear to see why Robbie X is gaining raving reviews and in this match he displayed some awsome offensive moves.

Match 5
Prodigy and Scumboy defeated Mighty Quinn and Pitbull Pearson in a decent tag team contest.

Match 6
Tommy Boyce defeated Kieron Carte in a hard hitting contest, a good effort by both.

_______________________________________________________________

Jamie Jewell won the over-top-rope battle royal.

El Ligero and Cameron Craze won the GNP TAG TEAM TITLES from Prince Ameen, who had to defend them on his own due to an injury to Scotty Hexx prior to the show.

Val Kabious destroyed Chris Holmes and M.V. Klanger.

Prince Ameen announced that The Big Dog had to defend his title once more in a gauntlet.
The Big Dog defeated Nathan Cruz with a massive chokeslam, however it was obvious to those present that the champion suffered a serious leg injury during this contest.
The Big Dog then had to go one-on-one with C.J Banks, and it was only when The Juice made an error spearing the turnbuckle that The Big Dog managed to chokeslam Banks for the victory.
It was not over. Cruz, Ameen and Banks attacked Rainz until help arrived in the form of El Ligero and Val Kabious. It was at this point Ameen announced there was one more person for Rainz to face, and The Big Dog was taken out with a massive DVD from Kabious. Like last year when Bubblegum turned on the Creswell faithful, the crowd went silent in shock. Val Kabious got the pin, and became the new GNP Champion.

Reece Jordan defended his British Counties Title against Sam Bailey and Danny Hope in a great contest.

Ewan Kennedy leathered Surf Grafitti.

In one of the greatest battles ever seen, Kris Travis and Bubblegum took their war all over the venue. In the end, Kris Travis was the winner. Despite all the wrongs by Bubblegum in the past year, people were crying in the crowd as they realised this would be the last time they would see him in the GNP ring. However, wrongs were put right and Kris Travis finally put to rest the greatest feud in GNP history.

It was a night we will never forget.

TWA HONOUR AND GLORY - MITCHEL & DARFIELD CLUB 24/04/10

Val Kabious def Sam Bailey
Strong opening contest, MVK showed why he is the hottest property in British wrestling at this moment in time with an impressive victory over his more experienced opponent.

Jack Russell was on commentary with Carlos 'Tits' Hoggatt when Kris Travis with Mikey Riot came to the ring. Because Russell was unable to compete they selected a member of the audience to be the tag team partner for The Big Dog, and they chose a proper Harry-Potter-looking nerd called Matthew.

Reece Jordon def Jason Jewel
A nice tidy contest from two fast improving wrestlers, with Jordan taking the victory.

Rainz and 'Matthew' beat Mikey Riot and Kris Travis
A super entertaining contest ended when the nerd copied Shawn Michaels superkick right into the face of Mikey Riot. At one point Travis and Riot whipped Rainz into a corner buckle with such force it snapped the metal bars holding it up.

Devastation def Nemesis
After the interval these two new tag teams engaged in the hardest hitting contest of the night. In the end Scotty Hexx and Ollertank pinned Prodigy with a double chokeslam combination.

El Ligero def Martin Kirby
To say these two had never wrestled each other, what an amazing match. Kirby, as ever, was over the top whilst Ligero showed his high flying skills to show why he is ranked number 2 in the UKFF. In the end The Mexican Sensation took the duke with a C4L DDT.

Chris Holmes won the battle royal and became the first TWA champion.
In a battle royal that featured Pitbull Pearson and Kieron Carte, the match came down to two people..... Chris Holmes and Robbie X. These two then faced off in an exciting one fall match to determine the new TWA champion. Holmes managed to gain a hard earned pinfall win to be the first ever TWA title holder.

Robbie X took advantage of an injury to the mighty Ollertank and won the Trainee Gauntlet match. The contest started with Prodigy getting an early pinfall on Riot. Out came Carte, who also put on a brave showing but fell to one half of Nemesis. However whilst waiting for the next entry, Prodigy was taken out with an RKO from Kieron leaving him as easy pickings for Pitbull Pearson. Robbie X entered the contest and, following a strong showing, eliminated both Pearson and Scumboy from the Gauntlet rules match.

ONE FALL CONTEST

Pokamon power was rife in Dinnington as Kirby pinned the standout student of the GNP Academy with a pikachu plunge.

GNP BRITISH COUNTIES TITLE MATCH

DAVID vs GOLIATH
MATT SLATER VS SCOTTY HEXX
Matt Slater managed to defeat his much much larger opponent with a flying elbow drop in this heated contest.

TAG TEAM MATCH
PRINCE AMEEN & THE NEW GNP CHAMPION VAL KABIOUS
VS
EL LIGERO & THE BIG DOG
A super tough and hard hitting contest came to an end when Prince Ameen attempted a pedigree on The Big Dog, only to be superkicked by El Ligero. This allowed Rainz to hit a massive chokeslam for the 1-2-3. The highlights of the match was El Ligero hitting an amazing moonsault from the top rope to the outside onto his foes, and a pounce from Rainz onto Kabious which sent him flying through the middle ropes.

NBW ABSOLUTION - CAMBRIDGE 08/05/10

NBW ABSOLUTION MAIN EVENT
'THE SHOOTING STAR' KRIS TRAVIS vs 'MVK' VAL KABIOUS
A scorcher! After 20+ minutes of hard hitting action, MVK pinned TRAVIS with a DVD. One of the highlights of the match was TRAVIS fleeing the ring for a breather, and leaving the venue to go outside for a rest only for the door to lock behind him. Poor TRAVIS had to run around the venue to get back inside and was more tired than when he left.

EL LIGERO vs THE BIG DOG
Prof B. Hadley cancelled the Battle Royale stating the people were too afraid of facing THE BIG DOG in the ring. For that reason he challenged anyone in the back to face RAINZ on one one if they were brave enough. Both Mikey Riot and Jamie Jewel were destroyed in seconds until EL LIGERO hit the ring. In a well received contest, EL LIGERO pinned THE BIG DOG with a top rope splash to a massive ovation from the crowd.
