 Super confident and hard working, Chris Holmes came through the NBW Wrestling Academy with flying colours to set the NBW world alight. With his flash wrestling gear and cocky attitude, Chris Holmes calls himself 'The Reason'. He is super proud (in his own words) to be "STAG TOWNS FAVORITE SON". Although the people of Mansfied might feel a bit different about this. In early 2009, Chris Holmes captured his first ever championship, this being the NBW Heavyweight Tag Team Title (with Scotty Hexx). In his first year as a pro he was named as one half of The Tag Team Of The Year. In 2010 he captured his first singles title, the NBW Academy Championship. Holmes likes to side with monsters to help him protect his gold. This is why you will always see 'The Reason' with wrestlers such as Scotty Hexx and the mighty Ollertank.
